I kind of had trouble coming up with a topic on Memorial Day. Since most rockers are usually against war, and not many actually served I thought it might be fitting to do a memorial of one of my favorites that I never saw live. I feel like the music gods took Stevie Ray Vaughan away from us WAY too early. I remember hearing of his death one morning after he played a show at Alpine Valley. I immediately walked over to Hegewisch Records to grab any remaining material I didn't own of his. Good decision on my part... Enjoy some SRV, acoustic. BTW, anyone know where I can get a copy of this MTV unplugged?
