Last night Pitchshifter and I went to the Vic and caught The Dead Weather. For those of you unfamiliar with them, it's Jack White's new band. Jack White is on drums (White Stripes, Raconteurs), Jack Lawrence (Racounteurs) is on bass, Dean Fertita (Queens of the Stoned Age) is on lead guitar and Alison Mosshart (The Kills) is on vocals.
They rocked the house to say the least. Did a great cover of You Just Can't Win by Them. But what I was most impressed with was Mosshart. She seems like a lot of fun.

P.S. dimeadozen.org already had a boot of the Minnesota show from the other night!
