Two of my favorite albums in my collection are made by The Refreshments. They got a little love on national radio back in the late 90s. Not enough in my opinion. They were part of the Arizona sound that followed the Gin Blossoms. I personally thought Roger Clyne was much more witty lyrically. I really got a charge out of there music. Too bad they aren't making music together. You can still hear Roger in his solo act and a couple other parts of the Refreshments and Gin Blossoms in the band the Gas Giants. Neither of which are half as good as the Refreshments.
