Above is a Google trend graph of searches for Dead Weather. Obviously this shows the interest in the Dead Weather took off in March 09 once the news got out. Anyways, Google trends is a neat tool to use to gauge interest in different items.
Here is a Google trend of Pitchshifter... not bad... but we have a ways to go.
Today's music is for Pitchshifter. I am going to take one for the team here. I love the original version of Ziggy Stardust. Pitchshifter has a warm place in his heart for the Bauhaus version. I hate this version... But keeping with the theme of the weekend, here's another cover.
BTW, did anyone hear the cover Disturbed did of Faith No More's Midlife Crisis? Awesome.

I have been a fan of this cover for a long time. I have always been a fan of Bauhaus. I don't think they took the song in any new direction, but I still love it.
